Ph.D. Maria Susana González Reyna

Ph.D. María Susana González Reyna is a Full-Time Professor "C" at the Center for Studies in Communication Sciences of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the UNAM, where she obtained her degrees of Bachelor of Science in Communication, Master of Communication and Ph.D. in Sociology. Her lines of research cover journalism, discourse analysis and methodology, topics that she has developed in numerous publications, including recent works such as "Argumentación periodística" (2021) and the coordination of books on journalistic theory and practice.

Her outstanding academic career was recognized in 2012 with the Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz award, granted by UNAM. She is an active member of the Mexican Association of Communication Researchers and the Latin American Association of Discourse Studies, contributing significantly to the study of journalism and discourse analysis in Mexico.
